Action for Asteroid Rights

The team and I wanted to investigate the problem of extraterrestrial mining with the very specific example of the asteroid Bennu.

We created a video that raises awareness of the problem of asteroid mining in a tone that means to show the ridiculous extent of greed through personifying the entity of Bennu as an exploited castaway. 

​

The purpose was to show that the tonality of victimisation is somewhat a function of the extremeness of hybris exhibited through some human behaviors.

 

Humour and irony are an important element of my work and allow me to figure out my stance towards something.
